Selecting high performance springs is no easy task.

Hyperco Optimum Body Diameter springs provide the highest level of performance on the market today. Hyperco's unique OBD design concept adjusts the springs' body diameter relative to the end coils, thus enabling them to take advantage of their high tensile materials by fully optimising the applied stress in each design.

The advantages of OBD suspension springs are:

Less weight
More Travel
More shock to spring clearance
More resistant to bowing
Improved linearity with same free length
Constant end diameter

Other advantages of Hyperco suspension springs include:

Suspension springs that do not lose free length or installed height under normal racing conditions, whilst still offering adequate deflection

Accurate and consistent rates

The highest quality materials such as high tensile chrome silicon, micro alloys, alloy and stainless steels

Coil springs which are as light as possible with maximum deflection

Coil springs which are free from surface imperfections which could lead to spring failure

Hyperco suspension coils fit all these criteria are guaranteed to remain within 2% of the original manufacturing tolerances for rate and free length.
